Alan Archer

When growing up in the 60’s I listened to Seattle radio, KJR, KING, KOL, and that’s what I wanted to do – to be a DJ.

In my early radio days, I was spinning vinyl on Radio Uno in San Jose Costa Rica in 1975 while I was in the Marine Corps.

Post Marines, I’ve worked at KRKO Everett, KUBE Seattle, KVI Seattle, KRPM Seattle and filled in for two weeks at KAYO in Seattle. I later worked at KAYO in Olympia and The Eagle in Olympia. We moved to Chehalis in 2017 and I found myself at KITI. For me radio is fun, it’s entertainment, I make it educational and I love the music we play and all of the people I work with here.

My Sweetheart, Jamie, and I live a quiet life in Chehalis on our 5 acres with our goats, chickens and dogs. Jamie, she, loves her animals and I’m sort of fond of all of them myself.
